Trying something new...
Hey Everyone!!
I hope your all having a wonderful Friday wherever in the world you may be!!
Now today I wanted to share something new that I have done which is personal to me, and it comes from one of the main things that is close to my heart when it comes to things you can be diagnosed with.. okay I must admit that anything that you can get diagnosed with is horrible but there are ones that are more personal to me cause its the ones my family and I are affected with most.. I'm not going to tell you what one of them is but the other I have written about before!
Okay so what I'm going to talk about is....
Epilepsy!
What Is Epilepsy?
Epilepsy is a condition that affects the brain and causes repeated seizures
(Source: NHS Choices Website)
Why Am I Talking About It?
Okay so lets get down to the point of this post.. I'm talking about it because I know it can be tough living with Epilepsy and lets be honest its not the best thing to have in life but yet again it could be worse. Anyway so I seen a post on Facebook about a group called My Epilepsy Team, and although I have been seizure free for a while, I decided to join this group and connect with others and get to know their experiences and what its like for them to live with Epilepsy. Previously in my life, when I was diagnosed I decided that I wanted to be like the nurses that helped me, I wanted to be a Neurologist and I loved the idea at the time, but it didn't grow on me! I have changed career paths and am no longer working towards being in a health career! I thought that if I couldn't be a Neurologist and help people that way, then maybe I can help and maybe make a difference this way, maybe give something to others that live with it!
Okay so I'm going to wrap up this post here..
Thanks for reading
